IN SEARCH OF SPACE (1971)

Langton's gone for a decade-long sabbatical, Turner's taking credit for writing some of the music now, there's a decidedly interesting sci-fi twist, and Del Dettmar links up with DikMik on synthibeasts such that you can almost understand what they're doing on this album.

Things begin auspiciously with the first recognizable BLANGA -- "You Shouldn't Do That" -- but it's all down hill from there into strumalongs reminiscent of the debut album.

If only they had a proper rhythm section to anchor the proceedings!
