HAWKWIND (1970)

Guitarists Dave Brock and Huw Lloyd-Langton strum through a variety of fairly fey Brock tunes in front of a lack-luster rhythm section, as Nik Turner makes pointless sax noises and electronics whiz DikMik seems to have wandered in to the wrong studio with the wrong equipment.

Only at the tail-end of "Hurry on Sundown" do the proceedings lock into the first primal BLANGA-loop, but that's not enough to recommend this critter, now, is it? Not a bad album, per se, but....
