Controls:
The first time you play a Breadwinner you can tell that the controls do "something" but why don`t they work like a "normal" guitar? It took me a while to figure out what was going on, so to save you the 30 minutes of frustration heres whats happening:
A: Tone control, not quite normal, the "centre" position is equal to the tone control on a regular guitar being on "10", being active this thing can get *very* bright.. B: Normal Volume Control C: Pick-up Selector, now this puppy takes some getting used to, I`m used to 3 position switches that go "Neck PU - Both PU's - Bridge PU" this one goes: "Neck PU - Bridge PU - Both PU's but Out of Phase!" so no more slamming the selector back towards the rear of the guitar for a solo.. you`ll overshoot the Brifge PU & end up with both of 'em on.. Good thing the toggle is big. D: Notch filter, combined with the PU selector & tone control this thing really gives the Breadswinner the edge, it can summon up all sorts of tones from Uber bright to total rumble.. |
