Roadtrip USA Number 3:
Coca Cola & London Bridge
The Stratosphere, yes, we went on the rollercoaster. (ulp!)
We stayed up late last night strolling the streets of Vegas until 4am.. which may explain the lazy trip reports, we both ommited to mention the Luxors best feature, as you know the Luxor is in the shape of a pyramid, the lifts are situated in the corners & therefore have to ascend at an angle.. the name for these mighty contraptions? "Inclinators" this may do nothing for you but it makes both myself & my friend very happy.. ..and yes, you do sway from side to side as the inclinator speeds up & slows down. (mucho sickmaking)

Today we decided to visit the world of coca-cola before leaving town, it wasn't all I'd expected, someone had told me they shoot coke across a room and into a glass without spilling a drop.. (you know who you are) ..this maybe technically true but seeing isn't quite believing as there's a coke catching & channelling device above the glass... the 30 flavors of coke from around the world available to sample was great though.. I liked "Lychee" flavor from Thailand best.

Following a peep at the map we decided to return to Phoenix via Lake Havasu to see London Bridge which some idiot American purchased thinking it was Tower Bridge.. the old gal looked great, much cleaner than the last time I saw it over the Thames in 1967... cars still run over it, and it's only 3 lanes wide.. no wonder it had to go.

We ate at Lake Havasu, in a fairly expensive but not quite worth it restraunt and got back in the car for the return to Phoenix so my friend can fly out tomorrow, we had intended to catch a movie before retiring but the only thing on offer was "A Civil Action" & we couldn't raise the enthusiasm...

2 hours later we found a Motel 6... but didn't find the drive in movie place.. ho hum...

-Tomorrow I tour alone.
