OK, so day 5 was when the sleep bug caught up with us.. we woke at an extremely late hour (1pm for the curious..!) and headed off to Naragansett RI, we drove a while down Route 1a (scenic) and golly it was just that.. then we went over the 2 huge bridges that lead to Newport, Newport is a tourist trap, I -knew- that but fell for it anyway.. we strolled around for a bit and had some (late) lunch.
we popped in on an abandoned Drive-in Cinema that I have a fondness for, I`ve been coming here since the walls were intact and the projectors were still in place..
In the evening we met up with a pal and consumed some high grade sugar products, we love your countries civilised way of having shops dedicated to deserts.. imagine not having to wade through the protein course before you gets yer hands on the -point- of a meal...
Capped the day off wit another movie, "The Net" with Sandra Bollocks.. what a crap film.. if the film were like real life I would have put a small icon in the bottom right hand corner of this message and when you clicked it and used the obvious key strokes (Shift and Alt) it would crash your comput################################################################### ##################################################################### ##############################
