LEVITATION (1980)

King's gone for good this time, replaced by Ginger Baker (who must've been suffering some sort of delusional spell or another). It's always delightful to hear Ginger, and he doesn't disappoint here, but the material on this album is weak, weak, weak.

Production is better than any album to date, bar QUARK -- but coupled with the weak songs this make the overall feel like listening to a Boston or Styx album.

All polish, no heart, and very little BLANGA to speak of.

BLANGA SCORE: 3.
